A NYC apparel company is seeking an experience Corporate Controller to join their accounting team This position will report directly to the CFO.
The responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: financial statement preparation, month end close, financial reporting, g/l accounting account analysis, reconciliations, prepare and consolidate the annual budgets, report on variances, report individual company results to members / partners, coordinator / resolve financial matters with all departments, analyze and adopt new technologies that will improve the overall closing and financial reporting process. This position will over see the accounting staff and coordinator insurance coverage.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelors degree in accounting, has 7-10 years of related experience (apparel background a plus), strong background in consolidations and works well in a team.
